Raynald BORNIER

Raynald is a founding partner of ARGYMA. After studying in Toulouse and Manchester, he began his career in planning telecommunications networks for a subsidiary of a US company based in London. He then worked in the France Telecom R & D department (CNET) in Issy-les-Moulineaux and at Orange Lab again in London before joining the Intellectual Property department of Orange in Paris. He then joined a renowned European IP firm in Paris and Toulouse before co-founding ARGYMA.

Raynald assists French and foreign clients on patent related issues (obtaining, defending, negotiating, financial aids, infringement). He has been advising renowned companies for more than 10 years in the fields of electronics, smart grids, general mechanics and sustainable development.

Always eager to optimize his knowledge, he has also been since 2013 a member of the Examination Committee of the European Patent Office (EPO, Munich) in which he marks candidates papers for the drafting of claims examination (filing of patent applications) and for the reply to official communication examination (grant procedure of a European patent).
